Kim Hansen Accomplishments
Kim Hansen began her hairstylist career in Beverly Hills on Rodeo Drive, working under a world-renowned hairstylist. He taught her how to serve the community and inspired a great work ethic. Her work ethic and understanding of luxury services have provided her with success. At 28, Kim Hansen opened her first salon in Arcadia, California. After six years, she opened her second salon and began growing a team, creating the Eclipse Salon and Spa brand of service. In 2009, she and her amazing team opened a premier salon, BLU Salon Aveda, in the Westfield Santa Shopping Mall. Together, they created one of the best intern programs in the San Gabriel Valley, training many hairdressers and assisting them to build success. BLU Salon Aveda was honored by Salon Today Magazine as one of the top ten salons in the country in terms of customer service and growth. Kim also received awards from the city of Arcadia, the county of Los Angeles, and the state of California for her service to the community. In 2014, she decided to put family first, closing her dream salon and encouraging her team to take our brand of service to other salons in the Arcadia, Monrovia, and Pasadena Areas. This allowed Kim to give 100% of my time and attention to her family and clients in a private studio. Kim has enjoyed serving on advisory counsels for Westfield Mall Group, Groupon, and the Professional Beauty Federation of California and began TNL Salon Services, a salon business consulting/education firm, in 2017, assisting aspiring small business owners to realize their dream. It’s Kim’s greatest joy to provide a stellar service to the community she serves.
